FLEAS

Speedily, without looking back, they flew from the flesh, a mass of predators, one following another, frustrated in their flight, fastened to the spot by the fiend in front who was fleeing too slowly.

Formerly innocent of any crime, smooth and sleek, the fallen angels became predatory, feasting on floating corpses in the river flow, becoming plumper  by the day.  A thick membrane had formed over the eyes of their soul.

A flag flapped high above the establishment that was concealed by flames fanned by the foe.  Mixing fiction with fact, a factory of illusion had formed over the folk who feed on the fleas.

In Dutch language newspapers, words begininning with ‘V’ have been quite common lately, because of the Dutch words for ‘refugee’ and ‘fleeing’ and words of that ilk .  So I went through my Dutch dictionary and looked at interesting words that began with ‘V’ and created this critique of bad journalists (not good journalists).
